About Our Leadership and Development Company 

Mason Academy has been in business since 2018. Although we are a relatively new company, our founder Charles Mason takes pride in having more than 30 years of experience.

Company History

In 2018, Charles Mason decided to create a corporate training company that could actively work with clients as they moved through foreseeable and unforeseeable transformations that would impact their general efficiency, output, and contentment. This would be done through a combination of personal and professional development training to enhance their skills.

The focus of his classes is to help you become more connected to your goals and more collaborative in your approach to work, while you are stimulated in a productive learning environment. This will allow for a more creative learning experience. His goal is to establish rapport with his clients as they learn to network with their fellow classmates.

Professional Background

Charles has over 20 years of experience in law enforcement and corrections, both in military and civil fields. He is a certified instructor in Florida. Charles also has strong leadership and relationship-building skills, which prove to be useful in his work as a corporate trainer. He offers training to improve your employees' performance, morale, and skills, by concentrating on their professional development.

Charles is also a skilled speaker, lecturer, facilitator, and coach with a passion for helping others reach their full potential. Additionally, he writes for the public administrative magazine the “P.A. Times.” Having worked in Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, England, and Korea makes him familiar with diverse cultures.

Educational Attainment

Charles has a Master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA) from Barry University. Currently, Charles is a Ph.D. candidate for Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Public Policy and Administration with a Specialization in Criminal Justice from Walden University.

Charles is a Social and Emotional Intelligence Certified Coach from The Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence.

Charles is also a Certified Practioner of the MBTI Step I and Step II Instruments from the Myers-Briggs Foundation.
